At the cradle of the Italian style, in Milan, the rhythm of men’s fashion is dramatic and the designers were presenting their talent in the most important Summer collections for men.
Flower prints, refreshing colors, geometric blocks, will be the textile designs that men will wear during this Summer season in Milan.
Bermudas are the main features, owners and queens of this season that will be put together with that which is casual and formal in different styles. And its closest relative, the ankle length pants, will make its appearance in the fray of colors together with the pajama pants to offer men the greatest comfort during those hot days.
But it is true that men’s runways in Milan are men’s center of attention, because the designers Viviente Weston and Versace, crowned male designs with flowers; and the Italian firm enhanced its models with an image of Hercules.
That which is “chic” will be seen on casual suits with button down jackets and bermudas, mostly on white color and refreshing colors like the designs of Salvatore Ferragamo, who creates a fresh collection, especially with color block in men which grants him a trump card.
Blue achieves a high scale in men’s fashion and all of its varieties will be observed in the designs of Roberto Cavalli, who puts all those of the opposite sex together with all shades of blue in his designs and accessories.
On the other hand, Prada introduced a collection of great profusion of geometric shapes where triangle sand rectangles excelled.
Moschino inspired himself on the icon of Campbell soup to design his formal suit. On the other hand, Missoni put together comfort and urban and his wide pajama pants, designed in jersey will offer men the comfort and informal of the urban.
Gucci introduced a suggestion of very striking prints and Etro a marked Hindu influence, excelling in silk turbans in a variety of colors in accessories and the same fabric in the tailoring of garments.
Dolce & Gabbana suggested the wide ankle-length pants and the use of striped shirts; Calvin Klein introduced his floral collection where the jean jacket was the center of his inspiration.
Bottega Vaneta inspired himself in the metropolis loving men and Vivianne Westwood crowned the heads of his models with flowers, an aesthetic that called the attention, since they looked like enchanted cherubs in the city forest.
