I love pink! One of my favorite colors, I always had to wait until spring to wear pink, since it was a color typical of the season. From time to time, we discovered it in a Haute Couture collection for winter, but it was very rare. It is not so today… This season the designers are compelled to use it in all its shades! And how!

We should embrace this charming trend with enthusiasm, because pink evokes romance and nostalgia, although it can also be sensual and sexy. It is always flattering, feminine and, above all, it can be worn morning, noon and night. And as if this wasn’t enough, when wearing pink one has the power to turn life into a wonderful fantasy. Can you forget the old song La vie en rose...?

The night’s allure captures it perfectly, and any ball gown makes a statement, especially, as it ensures us that the night is going to be spectacular. And for the cocktail hour, as well as for those special nights, it allows us to stand out with great chic.

It is not limited, though, to use after sunset, but it definitely enhances daytime designs, from two-piece suits to pant suits.

Pink is without a doubt a statement of French chic, and the silhouette becomes pure glamour in a fluid figure with extraordinary materials. And, although at first glance it makes us think it is simply romantic, pink can also create a bold and dramatic style. It has great class and redefines fashion with a fresh and personal note.

There are many options for daytime...  but the most popular are new suits that show a supple and lithe silhouette. There are interesting cocktail hour dresses, many of them using two different textures in order to create a more modern look; and at night... anything goes! There are embroideries, lace, feathers, fine silks, brocades, taffetas... in the most precious of tones. And one model is more elegant than the other! The designers have gone mad for pink, and they have given us plenty of styles that will allow us to live each moment in pink.

CHANEL has updated his two-piece woven suits and now we see sleeveless jackets, looser and longer. In a tweed print with large squares in pink, it is simply... a scandal! But at the house of CELINE they preferred suits in the purest of wools and the palest of pinks, and a jacket falling loosely without buttons. They are ideal for a lunch date or a trip to the movies this winter.

There is plenty to choose for the cocktail hour; but, personally, I love the soft silk gazar that GIORGIO ARMANI is using in dresses, which sometimes are draped in front or tied with bows. And for a dressier look, we should turn to CHRISTIAN DIOR, because they have exhibited fashions that combine pleats with exquisite embroideries in a delicious old rose shade. When the style is off the shoulder, the end result is simply spectacular.

There are many fabulous options for the grand galas. For an elegant style there are pure and simple dresses, but insinuating the curves, from ESCADA, which as an important detail they sport feathers in short sleeves.

ELIE SAAB mixed strong colored lace blouses with silk taffeta skirts in the sweetest of pinks, and at BADGLEY MISCHKA they preferred chiffon dresses with ruffles and stone embroidered details to create a modern and coquettish look. They are the maximum of elegance... and, besides, will make us feel like a queen for a day! Bravo!
