Enjoy the season and take your time to decorate your home during Christmas and make it look great for the children, relatives and friends.  Traditional colors will never be out of fashion.  This year Christmas is characterized to be filled with purple, fuchsia and white colors, which are very trendy and elegant colors.   Experts believe that the choice of the color, the form and the theme depend on the family’s life style, in fact, on the furniture styles and the everyday decoration of the home.

But, what are the seven trends to decorate this Christmas?:

1. People try to look more for a tree with lots of foliage in different shades of green, as well as colors that are not too conventional like magenta, fuchsia and purple which are the colors that will come into fashion this year.  Some people rather them in white or those that come in green and snow are a sensation.  And to replace the Christmas tree, you will be able to find pyramidal style figurines that suggest to us a tree, yet much more modern and simple.

2. The LED or fiber optic trees have become so appealing for the consumers that they will arrive with warm, not cold lights.

3. The accessories, dolls, balls, and monkeys continue to be the basic decorations of Christmas, but the trends are diverse and divided into three basic types, the dolls with childlike aspects in a more country style, and like these, we will also see Santas, reindeers and snowmen that go more enjoyable with red, green and white.  The theme of the Carnival of Venice comes into fashion, with velvet and sequin masks.

4.  Traditional colors will never be out of fashion, however, this year Christmas is characterized to be filled with purple, fuchsia, and white colors, in addition to silver which takes off with strength.   Another trend points at a more medieval trend, with colors like burgundy, dark green and gold, represented by characters like harlequins, cameos and velvet elements like bows and flowers.

5.  The manger comes in all materials and sizes, depending on the space available, with accessories like houses, animals, preferably of small size, that make the decoration turn into a magical activity.

6.  A bigger wreath can be made for the door of the house and smaller ones for the inside of the house.

7.  Cold lights continue to be the most appealing to the public, but this year they will be mixed in with warm lights, that is, yellow lights, to provide a contrast of temperature and a more elegant look.
