D Philosophy

The Spring 2017 season sees the introduction of a new D Philosophy Spring collection. This new box set presentation (#703) will run concurrently with the Winter 2016 D Philosophy box presentation (#653).

Unlike most Dormeuil bunches that have a two-year shelf life, the D Philosophy box set is an extremely limited edition offer that will only be available for 1 year – or until stock runs out. Our mill will not reproduce any of these designs.

Moving forward, a new D Philosophy collection will replace the existing D Philosophy collection (for that season) every season. D Philosophy represents the House of Dormeuil’s latest creations for the season and reflects 175 years and five generations of luxury cloth DNA.

Each D Philosophy collection is the result of Dormeuil's constant search for new ideas which reflect the spirit of the times.

For Spring '17, D Philosophy presents 3 unique themes of cutting edge high fashion cloth that takes advantage of the latest technology for optimum performance increase resistance and comfort control in varying climates.

1. 412.000 Summer Bexley: A light and modern blend of wool, silk, and linen. Perfect for a Spring jacket as well as a statement Summer suit.

2. 886.000 Jersey: Cotton, cotton and linen, cotton, linen, and cashmere. The ultimate high fashion fitted summer jacket.

3. 884.000 Bouclette: Linen, silk, wool and polyamide. A light, breathable jacket that will always look sharp and elegant.
