Soft, natural, and of inimitable texture.  We have seen cork everywhere- on walls, furniture, objects, blackboards, etc.  However, this Spring 2013, cork will be the most important feature in fashion, in anything you can imagine: in accessories, in shoes, in hats, etc.

Fashion designers’ trend of using this element has been dramatically gaining importance, and we will see how the talent of these design artists will introduce it in its diverse forms and styles.

Cork shoes will be an innovation and not be one single design  displayed on the shop windows that will not include this implement; they will be present on heels, on platforms and it will be hard to go unnoticed on accessories like belts, hats, bags, caps and umbrellas.

Many of the famous designers like Gucci, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton, among many others, will approach this idea to obtain a casual look on designs that range from casual to the most elegant.

Decoration will not escape from this trend either, as we observe them on floors, as good noise insulator, energy saving and wall paneling.

Currently, this material has been imitated to perfection, to cover flooring through a technique that offers great kindness to its use in interior design.
