The Venezuelan designer, Carolina Herrera’s Fall-Winter 2013 season collection is feminine and sophisticated.

Within a frame of elegance that is so characteristic of this famous designer, her glamorous style is reminiscent of the 50's.  The dress, as main garment of her collection, ranges fron the classic shirtwaist version to the black lady-cut dress.

The colors that mostly stood out on her runway were blue, green, orange, nude and maroon; in addition to the classic red and black, which she also added to her party dresses.  The fabrics that were chosen by the designer Herrera were velvet and lace with very sensual and sophisticated designs.

Skirts with slimming waist that marked the feminine silhouette were put together with flounces and pleats, modest blouses providing the dressy and casual outfit a special look.

For the cold weather, combinations of coats and capes were displayed, giving the silhouette a light touch with an emphatic simplicity and volume. The prominent designer made marked reference to the feminine waist.

Big bags will remain in her leading role, together with purse size bags, with wooden handles and quilted textures.

As accessories that marked the designer’s chic touch, gloves, belts and anklet straps were worn.

Carolina Herrera’s collection allowed to dazzle her talent and elegance within a simple and functional frame that offered great satisfaction to the female gender.
