The Fashion Week in new York has become a required appointment for designers, celebrities and merchants.  Their international runways display the talent of the great fashion designers and their innovations for the 2014 Spring-Summer season.

This time, the city that never sleeps, displayed 10 trends that will become the key for the upcoming 2014 Spring-Summer season.

The urban Safari style, with a complete white look, neither pink nor fuchsia- Cherry!, the destructuration of prints, the counter-attack of pastel blue, the halter neckline, the vichy or gingham checked materials, the metallic shades, like the new must; the captivating grey, flowers as print.

The trends continue their path in the New Yorkers’ city where the recovery of the nineties prevailed: its minimalism invaded the collections of Rag & Bone and Lacaste.  The French house celebrating its 80th Anniversary run by  Portuguese, Felipe Oliveira Baptista, between sporty and refined.  Baptista played with water green and blue colors; designs of tennis court to alter the classic polos and give it an architectural touch.

On the other hand, Alexander Wang, displayed his first runway bringing back the nineties in a legacy in favor of moods.  In his minimalism or grunge, he invokes elements like the logo mania, embossed on the leather or on the torso of a delicate design.

New York has made many talented designers big, and Wang has been a phenomenon in this fashion panacea.

The Spaniard Josep Font, defended Del Pozo, and he proudly displayed on his runway the feminine silhouette wrapped in raffia skirts, transparencies and flowers that released the everyday rigors, emphasizing a new aesthetics era.

Another Spaniard, Carmen March made her debut on the platform with a “Mediterranean” line with sweeping pants, loose blouses and jackets in linen and cool wool, moving away from the seriousness and rigor and going into depth on a more sensual line with a light and bright result.

New York has spoken and here are its trends.  Lets’s start taking down notes to start the next Summer season that will play with all colors, styles, and proposals from the most internationally well-known houses.
